Gayelle
Banyan Productions, 1985 to 1992
 
Gayelle was a weekly cultural magazine television program started in 1985 which ran to 1990 in Trinidad.  When Banyan Productions bought the television station in 2004, they choose the channel's name, Gayelle TV from this program.
 
Errol was one of a team of three original presenters who co-hosted until 1987.  He worked as an editorial team of five to six people and was involved in the concept development, scripting and presenting of each program.

  • 5 July 1985 - Pat Castagne Interview by Errol Sitahal
    • Pat Castagne (1916 - 2000) worked for the Department of Agriculture in Trinidad and Tobago.  He was also a musical composer who composed the national anthem Forged From the Love of Liberty.
  • 29 May 1986 - Gayelle, Series 1, Programme 5: Man Better Man a play by Errol Hill.
  • 19 June 1986 - Gayelle, Series 1, Programme 7 (Labour Day Special): Errol played Rienzi in a drama segment.
Awards:
          Gayelle won the BWIA National Media Awards in Trinidad and Tobago for Best Series in 1988 and 1989.
