Moon on a Rainbow Shawl is a 1958 play by Trinidadian playwright Errol John.  John won the 1957 Observer's prize as the best new playwright.  It follows a man trying to escape the poverity in Port of Spain.

 

Errol designed the sets and directed a production of this play while working with the Alternative National Theatre in Trinidad.
