The Dragon Can't Dance by Earl Lovelace is a 1984 play based on Lovelace's 1979 novel.
 
Errol played Pariag in the first production in 1984 at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, Connecticut, United States while working with the Alternative National Theatre in Trinidad.
 
In 1990, Errol also did a reading of the novel for BBC radio presentation in 10 serialized parts.
